LeNaya Smith Crawford, LAMFT, RYT

LeNaya earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spelman College and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with specializations in Trauma Therapy and Child and Adolescent Therapy from Richmont Graduate University.

In addition to her degrees, she completed her registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) training and is also certified in playful children’s yoga.
With over 10 years of experience working with children and families, LeNaya is passionate about helping her clients become happy and healthy! She specializes in working with children, adults, couples, teachers and families with a variety of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, social skill struggles, behavior challenges, friendship/relationship issues, grief and loss, family/life transitions, divorce, and low self-esteem.

She takes a collaborative approach when working with her clients. She believes that her clients have the power to learn and grow; she is there to aid and encourage them along the way.  LeNaya uses fun and unique activities in therapy to help her clients become invested in the concepts she is teaching and helps them create reminders to implement the concepts and strategies when they are not in therapy. She uses play, art, mindfulness, yoga and movement in therapy, helping clients work through their challenges more effectively at their own pace while emphasizing their strengths.

LeNaya is under direction and supervision working toward her full licensure as a LMFT and Registered Play Therapist.

Kristin earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University with an emphasis in child and adolescent counseling. She completed her internship working with children, adolescents, and families providing play therapy. Kristin had worked with a variety of populations and challenges including LGBTQ youth, individuals living with HIV, women’s issues, gender identity issues, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, and life management issues. Kristin enjoys spending most of her time working with women and children helping them to overcome their challenges and find their inner strengths.

Kristin utilizes an eclectic approach when working with individuals based on each person’s individual needs. What clients enjoy most about working with Kristin is her warm personality and person centered approach. Kristin is currently working toward certifications in play therapy, yoga, meditation and perinatal mental health to be able to better assist her clients. She welcomes the opportunity to work with you or your family to help you achieve your goals and start living your most fulfilled life. Kristin is currently practicing under supervision toward her LPC and RPT.

Mowry earned her  kids yoga  certification through Radiant Child Yoga and that includes the Spanish language through practice as well. She has been practicing and teaching since 2008 in the United States and in Latin America. Strong communities and families are very important to her and watching my students grow is truly a blessing. Mowry helps with Kaleidoscope’s groups and camps and also teaches child and family yoga at Seviin Yoga in Kirkwood.
